Connect Square
Square Appointments bookings in the next two weeks become jobs, with the customer filled in.
Connect Square and the Square Appointments bookings you have over the next two weeks turn into jobs in Photo Luego. The customer's name, phone, email and address come with them, so you arrive ready to take your photos.
What you need
- A Square account with Square Appointments.
- Photo Luego Pro, which has a 7-day free trial with no card needed.
Connect it
- In Photo Luego, open Settings and find Connections.
- Choose Connect Square and sign in to Square. Approve the connection there.
- Back in Photo Luego, open the Jobs page. Your upcoming appointments are there, dated by the appointment, such as "Window Cleaning ยท Oct 17".
What comes in
- The job is named after the service and its day. The person who booked is the customer.
- Their phone and email, from their Square customer profile.
- The address: the appointment's address when you go to the customer, otherwise the address on their Square profile.
- A note the customer typed when they booked shows on the job page under From Square. It is for you and your team only and is never put on a report. Your own notes in Square are not copied.
Get the most from your bookings
The more the customer fills in when they book, the more arrives ready to use. Ask for a mobile number and the address of the job when they book, and every appointment shows up with them. Then you can text the customer their report with one tap.
How fast do bookings arrive?
New and changed appointments arrive the moment they are made. Photo Luego also checks each time you open the app or come back to it, in case anything was missed.
Reschedules and cancellations
- If a customer reschedules, the same job moves to the new date. You do not get a second job.
- If a customer cancels, the job stays, so photos you already took are never lost. Delete it from the job page if you do not need it.
Disconnect
In Settings, then Connections, choose Disconnect. We stop reading your appointments and forget our access. Jobs that already came in stay in Photo Luego. You can also remove Photo Luego in your Square account.
Questions
Does Photo Luego change my Square account?
No. It only reads your appointments. It does not create, move or cancel anything in Square, and it never contacts your customers.
Why do I only see two weeks of appointments?
To keep your Jobs page about the work in front of you. An appointment appears once it is within two weeks.
A job has no phone or address. Why?
The customer does not have one on their Square profile. Add it in Square, or type the details on the job yourself.
