Photo Luego

For pool service pros

A green pool turned clear is the best before and after you will ever take

Weekly pool service is invisible when it works, and a visible mess when it does not. Photo Luego records the water, the equipment and the surface when you arrive and when you leave, from the same spot, and builds a report your customer can see.

Works in your phone's browser. Free plan, no card needed.

Where the money leaks

A pool that stays clear looks like nothing happened, so customers forget what the weekly visit does.

Green-to-clear recoveries and equipment problems need proof of the starting point.

Customers blame the pool company for algae, stains and equipment faults that were there before.

How Photo Luego helps

The camera overlays your before photo, so you shoot from the same spot at the same angle.

Time-stamped photos of water, filters and equipment, from your phone, kept with the job.

A report with a drag-to-compare slider for the water, the tile line and the equipment pad.

Add up to four helpers on Pro, so each tech adds to the same job.

On the job

Photograph the water, the tile line, the skimmer and the equipment pad when you arrive. For a recovery, repeat the same shots over several visits and put the first and the last in one report.

How a pool service pro uses it, step by step

  1. 1

Photograph before you start. The water, the walls, the tile line and the equipment pad. Tap the shutter for each shot.

  2. 2

Do the work. Clean, balance and service the pool. Your photos are saved on your phone, even without a signal.

  3. 3

Match the after shots. The camera shows a ghost of each before photo, so you stand in the same spot at the same angle. A live percentage tells you when it lines up.

  4. 4

Send the report. Text your customer a link to a page with before and after sliders, your logo, your review links and a pay button.

Where photos help in pool service

Water changes by the day, and customers see the pool, not the work. Photos connect the two.

Recoveries: a before and after of a green pool is the clearest proof of a big job.

Equipment faults: a gauge reading, a leak or a worn part is photographed before you touch it.

New customers: the first visit shows the pool as you found it, including stains and damage that were there.

Disputes: a dated photo of clear water when you left answers "it was green the day after".

Tips for before and after photos that match

  1. 1

Shoot the water from the same spot every visit. Pick a landmark, such as the corner of the house or a fence post.

  2. 2

Photograph in the same light. Glare on the water hides clarity, so move your angle to cut it.

  3. 3

Take the photo before you vacuum or stir the water, so you show its true state.

  4. 4

Photograph the gauge reading, not only the filter, so the number is in the record.

  5. 5

For a recovery, repeat the same shot every visit and pair the first with the latest.

  6. 6

Keep your net, hose and tools out of the after shot.

Short captions that help the report sell

One line under a transformation says what you did. A few to adapt:

Green pool after shock and filtration, now clear.
Equipment pad cleaned, with a leak at the union noted.
Tile line scrubbed and calcium scale removed.
Skimmer and pump baskets cleaned.
What to tell the customer

Tell the customer you photograph the pool on each visit: "It gives us both a record of the water and the equipment, including anything wrong when I arrive, and I will send you a short report when we finish a recovery." Photograph any damage or faults before you touch them.

General advice, not legal advice. Rules about photographing people and property vary by place, so check yours.

Questions

What is the best before and after photo app for pool service?

It depends on what you need. If you want matching before and after photos and a report you can send to customers, Photo Luego is built for exactly that, and it has an always-free plan. If you also need routes, chemical logs and billing, pool service software does that, and many pool pros use one of those together with a photo app like Photo Luego.

How do I show a green-to-clear recovery?

Photograph the pool from the same spot at the start, then again on each visit. The overlay of the first photo helps you stand in the same place. Put the first and the latest photo together in one report to show the whole recovery.

What should I photograph at a pool?

The water from a fixed spot, the walls and floor, the tile line, the skimmer and baskets, the filter and its pressure gauge, the pump and the rest of the equipment pad, plus any cracks, stains or equipment faults.

Can I record equipment problems for the customer?

Yes. Photograph the gauge, the leak, the cracked housing or the worn part before you touch it, and add a short note. It supports the repair quote and shows it was not caused by your visit.

Does it work with Skimmer, Pool Brain or Jobber?

It connects directly to Calendly: your bookings appear on their own. With pool-specific tools, such as Skimmer, Pool Brain or Pool Office Manager, there is no direct link yet, but Photo Luego works alongside them. Take the photos and text or email the report to your customer.

How much does Photo Luego cost for pool service?

The free plan has no time limit and keeps one job at a time on your phone. Pro is $12 a month or $99 a year, with a 7-day free trial and no card needed. Pro saves your photos to your account, shares report links, and adds Calendly and team features.

Make your next job pay for itself.
